Key Machinery Accessories for Small Feed Pellet Press

For small feed pellet press, the most important accessories are pelleting die and pressing roller which are made by metal used for compressing the raw materials into feed pellet.

• Pelleting Die

Pelleting die can be simply regarded as metal component with holes in plate or ring shape. The hole diameter and die thickness decides the final feed pellet size that we call as compression ratio. We have different kinds of pelleting dies manufactured with different hole diameter ranging from 2.5mm to 8mm. According to the different animal feed and different requirements from customers, we customize the pelleting die with the suitable compression ratio.

• Pressing Roller

The pressing roller means the driving component from theoretically. Under the driving of the motor, the pressing roller starts to rotate to press the raw materials into the pelleting die hole.

The combination of pelleting die and pressing roller can also be regarded as driving components theoretically. In the pelleting production, when the driving power is turned on, the pelleting die or pressing roller starts to rotate to press and form the raw materials which touch the die. Due to the difference between rotating parts, we divide the small pellet press into two types, including D-type adopting pelleting die rotation and R-type adopting pressing roller, each of them can produce perfect pellet. In our manufacturing, the R-type small pellet press is mainly used for making biomass pellet.

Flat Die Pellet Die or Ring Die Pellet Press?

1. Working principle. Small feed pellet press is designed with flat pelleting die, while our ring die pellet press is designed with ring die pelleting die.
2. Production capacity. Small feed pellet machine production capacity ranges from 60kg/f to 1100kg/h, differently, the ring die pellet press can produce feed pellets 1-15 ton per hour.
3. Usages. Production capacity decides the different usages.
